From: Nabonita Guha <[log in to unmask]> Date: Wed, 25 Feb 2015 12:10:05 +0530 Dear Liblicense members, I would like to know your opinion on perpetual access terms for secondary databases like Web of Science, Sci-Finder, etc. As we are aware that unlike e-journals, these databases deal with current information along with various value additions. Getting access to the paid but non-updated content may be like having access to half baked information. My questions are as below: Does it make sense to get a perpetual access for these databases? What should be the post-cancellation terms for these kind of resources? Looking forward to hearing from you.
