Do any readers of this list have research or opinions about the effect of raising or lowering the APC (article publication charge) of a journal on submissions? Do more authors submit to journals with lower APCs? Does raising the APC result in fewer submissions? I'd welcome any thoughts on this - either confidentially to me directly, or on this list for discussion.
