Today's CRL (Center for Research Libraries) Text/Data Mining webinar
(5th in a series) reminded me of a couple of not-long-ago items that
may not have made it to liblicense-l.

So here they are:

1. Copyright Clearance Center Launches Text Mining Soution. June 9,
2015. This is interesting because apparently one can work across STM
publishers' content. Anyone know what the service costs? Did anyone
see it demo-ed at SLA in June?

2. Association of Research Libraries. ISSUE BRIEF: Text and Data
Mining and Fair use in the United States.

A straightforward overview by Krista L. Cox, Director of Public Policy
Initiatives. June 5, 2015.
