Whether you work at a large or small library, or a special, academic, or public library, e-resource troubleshooting is a common component of collection management. How do you handle e-resource troubleshooting at your institution? Do you have multiple staff trained to troubleshoot or do you fly solo? Do you have a web-scale discovery system in place that affects your workflows? How do you use traditional library tools (ILS, ERM, etc.) and non-traditional tools (Excel, LibGuides, Wikis, etc.) to manage this work? The IG co-chairs will introduce the topic and then we’ll break into 3-5 smaller discussion groups to talk about e-resource troubleshooting workflows--what works and what doesn’t. If you have had experience with troubleshooting e-resources at your institution and are interested in facilitating one of the small discussion groups, please contact Jennifer Bazeley at [log in to unmask] Thank you, Jennifer Bazeley Chair, CMERIG Interim Head, Technical Services Miami University Libraries p. 513.529.4216 | e.
