From: Linda Wobbe <[log in to unmask]> Date: Tue, 15 Mar 2016 18:06:58 -0700 Hi Libby, At Saint Mary's College of CA we are Ulrich's Web subscribers. I love how it is integrated with SerialsSolutions' eJournal list. I'm not sure a screen shot will get through to list-serve users, but here's how it looks. Clicking the Ulrich's web link takes you directly to the Ulrich's entry. The other customizations: "Peer Reviewed" and the covers use WorldCat API's I think. [image: Inline image 1] We use Ulrich's all the time and direct students and faculty to it. This is how we determine if a journal is peer-reviewed and get basic information about publishing in a journal. When we are considering purchasing a journal, we use Ulrich's to learn where it is indexed and/or aggregated. It also links to reviews of journals from Magazines for Libraries. We couldn't live without it! ...Linda Wobbe Linda Wobbe Head, Collection Management Sciences Subject Selector Saint Mary's College of CA Library PMB 4290 1928 Saint Mary's Road Moraga, CA 94575 On Tue, Mar 15, 2016 at 5:06 PM, LIBLICENSE <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > From: Libby Cass <[log in to unmask]> > Date: Tue, 15 Mar 2016 00:58:42 +0000 > > Hi Liblicense-L colleagues > > I would be interested in hearing from any Ulrich’s web subscribers. > Our consortium is wanting to negotiate a pricing model with the vendor > ProQuest and have some questions about value. > > Regards > > Libby Cass > > Assistant Director > NSLA eResources Consortium > National Library of Australia > p: (02) 6262 1871 | e: [log in to unmask]
