First, Sci-Hub and its sister site or constellation of sites LibGen are posting book content as well as journal content. Books and journals have different economic models as far as royalties and author fees, and the motivation to prepare the content by the author is usually quite different. Second, the misuse of university security mechanisms raises the question of risk for institutional content/information other than access to online publications.
