Do libraries agree to such terms? I've seldom come across contracts that require the library to provide user names and/or addresses, except on occasion if a license is to be restricted to a particular small subset or group - and not available to the whole institution. This would be a special situation, to be sure. However, it's not uncommon that, in order to take advantage of special features of a given resource, an individual user would need to register him-her self. And for certain newspapers, an institution would sign an agreement and then users must register individually in order to gain access. Thoughts and experiences welcomed. Thank you, Ann Okerson
