Dear all,

Iceland Consortium is negotiating with Elsevier for Scopus in a national
access.

Elsevier insist on keeping the following in the agreement.

*Restrictions on Use of Subscribed Products.*

· Post individual items from the Subscribed Products on social
networking sites

This is new to us and we do not have any similar restriction in other
agreements.

Is this acceptable?

Do you have this or similar restriction in your Scopus agreement?

Elsevier does not have an official list over social networking sites, but
says that it has for example facebook, linkedin, twitter in mind.

Kind regards,

Birgir
