Hi all,

We’d like to invite you to our webinar, eLife Continuum for Publishers,
taking place at 4pm-5pm BST / 11am-12pm EDT on Monday, July 24.

We’re interested in how new, open-source technologies can help improve the
discovery and communication of scientific research online. As a key part of
this goal, we developed and launched eLife Continuum as a platform to
support continuous, open-access publishing.

eLife Continuum is an entire suite of services and applications available
to publishers. It includes a post-production publishing system, a full
front-end user-interface (UI) pattern suite, eLife Lens Reader, API, and
search and recommendation engines.

During the webinar, we’ll discuss how we developed the platform and how the
newly redesigned front end fits into this suite of existing tools. We'd
also like your feedback on other services that you use, with a view to
potentially incorporating them into the platform in future.

The speakers from eLife will be:

   -

Giuliano Maciocci, Head of Product, who will be speaking about our
innovative use of a pattern library for building eLife Continuum and how
publishers can benefit from this approach

   -

Melissa Harrison, Head of Production Operations, who will discuss her
experience of adjusting the eLife journal’s production process to work with
   the platform

We invite you to join us and learn more about eLife Continuum as a holistic
or modular solution to complement your existing technologies.

The webinar will be held at 4pm-5pm BST / 11am-12pm EDT on Monday, July 24. To
