Jean-Claude,

I don’t, the model I laid out is freemium (in that a basic service is
provided free of charge and the cost of providing it would be drawn from
the revenues earned from premium services). I am well aware of Revues.org
and of related efforts by Open Editions; Pierre Mounier and I often compare
notes because we also use a freemium model at OECD. Part of my motivation
in writing the article was to raise awareness that freemium could be a
viable model to advance the open access process.

Best regards

Toby

Toby,

How would you distinguish your model from that of Revues.org known as
"Freemium"? http://lettre-cdf.revues.org/1238
