From: Brenna McLaughlin <[log in to unmask]> Date: Thu, 29 Aug 2019 16:01:35 -0400 The press director at the University of Rochester Press is a university employee—I believe the press reports into the provost's office, and the editorial board is university-affiliated as well. The partnership with Boydell & Brewer is substantive (though I'd absolutely have to defer to UofR for the details!), but the press is very much identified with the university and its mission. It retains the university’s name, but is run by B&B employees.
