Colleagues,

We’re hiring! Please feel free to contact me directly about either of
these fabulous opportunities at the CDL.

The California Digital Library has an outstanding opportunity for two
dynamic, highly-motivated individuals to join our systemwide licensed
collections team. This is a transformative time at CDL and the University
of California, with an opportunity to truly have an impact in a dynamic and
rapidly-changing environment. Come join us and make a difference!

The *Assistant Director for Systemwide Licensing
<https://jobs.ucop.edu/applicants/jsp/shared/frameset/Frameset.jsp?time=1570048536920>*
*(Req
#20190376)* will lead and manage systemwide licensing activities for
digital scholarly content on behalf of the University of California
Libraries, including responsibility for a $40M+ licensed content portfolio
and oversight of all phases of licensing activity from inception through
acquisitions and ongoing management. Working in close collaboration with
CDL’s Associate Executive Director / Director of Collection & Development
Management, the Assistant Director manages and provides strategic and
operational direction to a distributed licensing and collection services
staff of 12+ FTE in two primary locations (Oakland and UC San Diego) and is
a key collaborator in developing strategic directions for the CDL
collections program as a whole.

The *Licensed Content Development Coordinator
<http://jobs.ucop.edu/applicants/Central?quickFind=62048> (Req #20190456) *has

Director for Systemwide Licensing and working in a highly collaborative
environment, the licensed content development coordinator will work
synergistically across UC to support and facilitate a dynamic,
future-oriented licensed collections program.
