GRN-GERPAR |
* About GRN-GERPAR The purpose of this electronic forum is to facilitate communication with and among the German Project Partners that are participating in the German-North American Resources Partnership. The German-North American Resources Partnership is a long-term enterprise focusing on improving the effective acquisition, use, and sharing of German-language materials among North American libraries, as well as fostering closer collaboration with German research libraries. A central focus of the project activities is transnational exchanges of information and practical experience with electronic resource sharing. GRN-GERPAR is a private, unmoderated list restricted to the various German and North American contact partners who are officially included in our Web site tables, and also to the members of the Collection Development Working Group who may occasionally wish to contribute information. Contact partners should feel free to post queries to the discussion list, to provide information on specific projects they have undertaken with their counterparts across the ocean, or to make periodical progress reports on their projects or on any data including statistics concerning reference queries which they have received from their partners. Postings can be either in English or in German, whereby we ask that our German colleagues be forbearing with their American counterparts, since not all of us are as proficient in German as you are in English. For more information about the German-North American Resources Partnership, see .
