We at Annual Reviews have been thinking about how to help the many
students, faculty and researchers that are working and studying remotely
during the COVID-19 pandemic. To assist them, on Monday, March 13th we
will temporarily remove access control to our content.

I am wondering if any vendors/publishers are thinking about helping
libraries in this time of so many institutions moving to online
instruction. Might they consider offering temporary access to their online
resources for a reasonable fee? Or as a free service to generate
goodwill? And foregoing complicated licenses to expedite access? It seems
like the right time for the scholarly community to work together once again
for the good of our students, faculty and researchers.
