From: Alison Henry <[log in to unmask]> Date: Fri, 23 Feb 2024 09:53:14 -0700 Hi Hannah, This is the starting point document <https://docs.google.com/document/d/18YgCfl_wN5BcFAeosNSyfox3nKKpfFFQ4NOKkc6-Ruk/edit?usp=sharing> for our one-off agreements, such as for streaming video (hosted in our repository, where users must authenticate to gain access). This is for a perpetual license and references Canadian law (clause 3), so you would need to modify those sections. I assume the provider would also want to remove the ILL option (clause 5). Feel free to adapt to your needs! Kind regards, Alison On Thu, Feb 22, 2024 at 8:11 PM LIBLICENSE <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > From: "McKelvey, Hannah" <[log in to unmask]> > Date: Thu, 22 Feb 2024 17:51:53 +0000 > > Hello— > > > > We are in the process of licensing a single, digital film for a 3 year > period. > > > > The provider does NOT have a contract, and instead is requesting that we > send them our own contract language that agrees to the following points: > > > > - “…the film will not be used for any commercial screening out of the > institution and it will be accessible for students that can't DOWNLOAD the > film and USE it for other audiovisual products / contents.
