*Serials Review* seeks an Assistant Editor who will work in conjunction
with the Editor in Chief and Associate Editor to strengthen the journal’s
visibility and support its continued growth. This is a unique opportunity

Authors, and uphold the integrity of a well-respected LIS publication.
Deadline March 15, 2024

Specifically, we are eager to welcome someone to:

   - Assist the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editor with recruiting and
   retaining Peer Reviewers and Contributors.
   - Contribute to the planning and intellectual development of regular and
   special themed issues.
   - Help manage the technical workflows associated with assigning
Reviewers, sending reminders, etc. Final editorial decisions would be made
by the EiC in collaboration with the AE.
   - Contribute to Calls for Content and then help distribute Calls and
other marketable news/information through listservs, social media, and
   similar communication channels.
   - Respond to Help Desk inquiries about submission status. Escalate to
   EiC or AE when needed.
   - Contribute to a journal marketing plan, which would be implemented by
the EiC, AE, and Assistant Editor
