Dear Ann,

I'm not sure wether your information is completely correct. As far as
I know, the curator did not charge the Dutch clients, but other
European clients of the non-Dutch office were also charged 2500 euros.
We, as clients of the Belgian office, had to pay.

Best regards,

Hello, All: one of our colleagues writes that it is possible for
libraries to get information about their Swets prepayment. However,
for this information libraries are to be assessed a non-refundable
charge of 2500 Euros. This fee is not applicable to libraries that
did business with a Swets European office, but it is applicable to
those who worked with the North American office.

Anyone on this list have more information about the whys and hows of
this policy? Any way to avoid the charge?

Thank you, Ann Okerson
