Cambridge University Press, a leader in academic publishing, seeks an
Account Development Specialist to join their Library Sales Department.
This is an exciting opportunity for creative, enthusiastic individuals
with academic marketing/sales backgrounds to learn and grow at an
established global organization with state-of-the-art offices
conveniently located in Tribeca. The Account Development Specialist
will work closely with the sales team on initiatives to increase
product usage, achieve customer satisfaction, and encourage customer
loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

· Participate in after-sales activities aimed at libraries and end-users
· Monitor and analyze customer usage
· Develop and create customer engagement programs and materials
· Deploy email campaigns and participate in regular team meetings


Requirements:

· 3 to 5 years of experience in academic sales & marketing and/or
background in library/information science preferred
· Experience with e-mail & web marketing a plus
· Exceptional writing and MS Office skills; must also be able to
effectively prioritize and meet deadlines as required.
· Bachelor’s degree in related field and experience with publishing;
experience with electronic products and library sales (including
library consortia) preferred
