Dear liblicense-l readers: On February 20th, our CRL mail server
experienced a temporary crash. We are most grateful to Patricia Xia,
CRL's Systems Head, for her hard work -- and that of her team -- to
restore functionality by the weekend.
One feature of the crash was that a small number of messages in the
queue (of 16) got out to subscribers, but in a somewhat random fashion
-- different subscribers will have received different messages. For
example, I maintain 3 different addresses just to be sure that
transmissions are successful; these received respectively 3, 5, and 6
of the messages, with only one match!
So -- over the next 2-3 days we will be (1) resending the messages of
Feb. 20th, in small batches; and (2) catching up with a sizeable
incoming queue. Please excuse any inadvertent duplication.
We apologize for the delay and inconvenience. Ann Okerson/Moderator
