Please join the ALCTS CRS College and Research Libraries (C&RL) Interest
Group on Sunday, June 24 from 9-10 am at Ernest N. Morial Convention
Center, Room 297 for a discussion on *Facilitating our Researchers’ Needs
Through Accessibility Compliance*. This session will benefit electronic
resources librarians, collections librarians, reference librarians,
publishers and more in understanding issues surrounding accessibility and
compliance for library electronic resources. The program will feature two
presentations followed by Q&A.

*Corey Halaychik, Library Director, SUNY Maritime*

Corey will speak about his experience at the University of Tennessee (UT)
working with the System Contracts Office, Office of General Counsel, and
other librarians in drafting accessibility language. He will also discuss
the approach used by librarians working for Tennessee Board of Regents
colleges and universities who took a vastly different approach than UT in
ensuring electronic resources are accessible.

*Nathalie Duval, Director of New Product Development, Alexander Street
Press*

Publisher of *Disability in the Modern World* and participant in a recent
accessibility review by the Big Ten Academic Alliance, Alexander Street
will share their ongoing efforts to ensure their multi-media platform is
accessible and the special challenges posed by video, audio, and
interactive features.
