Much different from Jim O’Donnell’s postings on finding a paperback
copy of Ulysses on Amazon comes this report on algorithmic pricing by
some sellers on the Amazon site.
Noted in yesterday's NYTimes “Bits”
Amazon's $23,698,655.93 Book About Flies | MICHAELEISEN.ORG
Amazon retailers are increasingly using algorithmic pricing, employing
algorithms that didn't have a built-in sanity check on the prices they
produced, according to a researcher. - Ashwin Seshagiri
