Much different from Jim O’Donnell’s postings on finding a paperback
copy of Ulysses on Amazon comes this report on algorithmic pricing by
some sellers on the Amazon site.

Amazon retailers are increasingly using algorithmic pricing, employing
algorithms that didn't have a built-in sanity check on the prices they
