Hello, Colleagues,



The ALCTS Scholarly Communications Interest Group is looking for a new
Vice-Chair for 2018-2020. The term begins this summer as Vice-Chair, and
rotates into Chair role one year from now. Vice-Chairs are expected to
attend both the Midwinter and Annual ALA Conferences, work with the Chair
to arrange programming and manage discussions at ALA conferences, and
submit reports of the IG's activities to ALCTS leadership.



Those interested in becoming Vice-Chair of the Scholarly Communications
Interest Group should submit a brief letter of interest that includes:


• Confirmation that you’re a current member of ALCTS

• A very brief statement about why this role interest you

• Your availability to attend ALA Midwinter and Annual meetings in 2019 and
2020

• Your resume or CV as an attachment
