Dear colleagues,

Welcome to the 23rd edition of the International Conference on Electronic
Publishing ElPub 2019 which will celebrate the cultural diversity in all
aspects of the transmission and perception of the written, spoken and
illustrated word!

*The Conference will take place between the 2nd and the 4th of June of 2019
at the Palais du Pharo, Marseille, France.*

In 2019, the Electronic Publishing conference will expand your horizons and
perceptions! Taking as an inspirational starting point the term coined by
Chilean publishers in the 1990s, the forum will revisit the concept and
will explore what it means today. Being organised five years after the
adoption of the International Declaration of Independent Publishers to
Promote and Strengthen Bibliodiversity Together, supported in 2014 by 400
publishers from 45 countries, the conference aims to bring together the
enquiring academic, professional and publishing industry minds keen to
explore the ever evolving nature of the knowledge transmission within the
human societies.

A more detailed call for papers will be published the 10th of November on
the conference website : http://elpub2019.org

The submission site will open on November 10, 2018. Add to your
calendars the deadline for submitting extended abstracts - January 10,
2019.

The conference co-chairs,
Pierre Mounier & Milena Dobreva
