Dear friends and colleagues,

The holiday season finds your moderator in special good cheer, truly
grateful to CRL (Center for Research Libraries) colleagues for the seamless
transfer of the list to its new home, and to all of you for your interest,
support, ideas, and patience.  We will take a short break, with two more
days of regular postings, then a bit more than a week off, resuming on 2
January.  I will imagine our readers huddled around holiday trees that look
very much like the one below . . .
