The JSTOR Labs <http://labs.jstor.org> team is in Washington DC this week
for “Inside Baseball
<https://www.loc.gov/item/event-393103/inside-baseball-lc-labs-hack-a-thon/2018-07-13/>,”
a flash build with the Library of Congress Labs and the National Museum of
African American History and Culture <https://nmaahc.si.edu/>. The “Inside
Baseball” hackathon goal is to “create new digital tools and visualizations
for research and exploration of baseball-related collections.”



At the end of the hackathon week on Friday, Library of Congress Labs is
hosting a public event that will include a presentations of the
collaboration results as well background on the collections and a panel
discussion by ESPN’s Clinton Yates, mathematician Jordan Ellenberg, and
baseball historian Rob Ruck. You may register to attend
